Performance Characteristics
Deep Penetration

The 1.5–5 nm molecules are smaller than the microscopic pores of aged asphalt, allowing the treatment to reach the fiberglass mat and restore internal flexibility from within.

Structural Reinforcement

The micronized polymer (125,000+ nm) creates a physical micro-bond across the shingle surface, significantly increasing granule retention and UV resistance.

40–50%
Improvement in Granule Retention (ASTM D4977)
Hydrophobicity Restoration

Restores the shingle's ability to shed water, actively preventing moss, algae, and mold growth that accelerates structural degradation.

Selective Penetration

The polymer particles are 40,000–80,000× larger than the oil molecules — physically incapable of entering nano-pathways. Both agents work simultaneously at completely different depths.

Application & Installation Protocol
Crew Requirement — 2-Man Professional Team
Technician 1
Ground
Operates the sprayer pump, manages the product bucket, and ensures consistent agitation to keep the polymer particles in suspension throughout the application.
Technician 2
Roof
Manages the 200 ft application hose and applies the product using a specialized wand with precision fan-tip nozzle for even distribution.
Equipment Specifications
Sprayer
Commercial-grade diaphragm or piston pump capable of passing 125,000+ nm polymer particles.
⚠ Backpack sprayers strictly prohibited — cannot pass polymer particles and will clog.
Hose
200 ft high-pressure application hose. Required for full roof reach from ground-level pump operation.
Nozzle Tip
#15 (0.015") Fan Tip only.
⚠ Standard tips result in uneven polymer distribution and application failure.
~600
sq. ft. / gallon
Coverage rate varies based on shingle porosity and age. More oxidized and porous shingles will absorb at a higher rate. A thorough application is preferred over under-application — the formula self-levels via capillary action.
04
Compliance & Testing Standards
ASTM D3462
Pliability & Flexibility
Restores asphalt binder flexibility to within new-shingle parameters. Meets or exceeds standard.
ASTM D4977
Granule Adhesion
Testing shows 40–50% improvement in granule retention vs. untreated control shingles.
ASTM E96
Permeability
Maintains the roof's ability to breathe while shedding liquid water. Vapor permeability preserved.
UL 2218
Impact Resistance
Restored binder flexibility and surface polymer armor provide improved hail impact resistance.
Application Safety Note: Ensure all ground-level surfaces (siding, plants, hardscape) are pre-wet before application begins. Overspray is biodegradable but should be rinsed promptly from non-target surfaces. Product is non-flammable with a flash point exceeding 400°F.
